Archer Webb is a new author, dedicated to bringing fresh literature to the marketplace.
Webb draws inspiration from cultural and social events mixed with elements of mystery and science fiction. He enjoys a good reference book, thought-provoking mystery novels, action-packed thrillers, or sci-fi novels and is always thinking up new ideas for literature in his free time.
Education
In college, Webb graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis with a bachelor's in History. While in college, he enjoyed activities such as acting, set design and construction, gaming, hiking, and socializing with friends. He did not always intend on becoming an author. Rather, his career goals changed to eventually becoming an author following his time at U.C. Davis. Webb experimented with literature in college through screenwriting and analyzing theatre plays. Webb practiced writing full-length scripts and short stories that later helped him hone his writing style and ultimately embark on a path as an author.
Childhood
Born in the late 1990s, Webb belongs to Generation Z which served as the primary motivation for his latest book: What's That Slang.
He grew up and currently lives in the Golden State of California. He is a part of a family of four, with one older brother. Webb loved to dress up and immerse himself in his wild imagination. From being a police officer one day, to being Bob The Builder or Darth Vader the next, Webb loved the world of fiction.
In his free time, Webb also experimented with graphic and web design from a young age. As a child, Webb was always technologically savvy, and always liked to challenge himself with understanding a new hobby. He taught himself how to code using HTML and CSS along with video editing and publishing. He taught himself how to use digital art tools, and even ran a blog and YouTube channel within a gaming community he belonged to, but ultimately discontinued the website and channel when he was admitted to college to focus more on his future career.
Interests
Webb likes to spend his free time learning new hobbies. When not working on writing, Webb engages in some of his favorite activities: hiking, gaming, photography, art design, web design, practicing the drums, cooking, reading, and watching new television shows or movies. He shares a large interest in Star Wars.
Webb also likes the intricacies of criminal law and hopes to someday attend law school to earn his J.D. When he finds a new case that piques his interest, Webb enjoys watching full-length trials online and assessing how he might handle it if he were in the courtroom, or if he were the judge presiding. While Webb's passion is writing, he would love to explore other careers and believes that one dedicated person alone can divide their time enough to learn from all walks of life.
Future Prospects
Webb is exploring new genres of literature but has prospects of releasing a mystery novel.
